I have 2 stainless steel sun visors for R model / superliners. One was new put on a truck for about a month then taken off. The other was on a truck for about 10 years or so. Both look good. I can take some pics if anyone is interested. Watts wants $500 for the same visor new. If any one is interested in them let me know.
Thanks, Josh

I'm looking for this style of sun visor(see pic below) like that where used on the 1985 Mack Superliner Magnums and others. If any one has one or knows of one PM me or post it here. I just acquired my Cousins old Mack Magnum Superliner and the original one is gone but I would like to replace it if at all possible.
Many thanks. Josh

The one hooked to the lowboy was my Dads Superliner which he used to drive for A A Robbins and then R I Lampus. The block truck we used to lift the bed is still owned by Lampus. My dad is the mechanic at Lampus' plant in Cambridge Springs(AKA the old Robbins plant). He likes stuff to be well taken care of which he's passed on to My Brother and I.
Thanks, Josh

Drove by hauling corn Friday when you guys were taking the bed off. I'm suprised to seee Rodger is selling stuff. In the past he had no interest in getting rid of anything.
I thought that might have been you. White RD?

Well here's some progress. I got the rears sand blasted, painted, and in the truck. Also I got the air tanks installed, moved the tool box, and cut the hood out for the out side air cleaner. I was kind of nervus about cuting the hood out but it turned out really nice. My Brother and I got the truck moved inside the other day out of the weather. Dad and I went and got the dump body I bought for it the other day before this snow hit. It needs some work done to it but it has alot of potential. Actually it's the same year as the truck. Here's some more pics
Thanks, Josh

It has an Oakville door tag ? I thought the Oakville Superliners were glider kits but if it were a glider it would have RW700GK ? but it has RW713 all the Oakville Superliner Gliders I've seen had GK behind the model . I know they built Complete R models there but I thought the Superliners from there were glider kits . Did they build complete Superliners in Oakville too ?
I know of one that was an RW713 with a V8 and big bunk. The guy lit it on fire and now all that's left is the frame which my one buddy has and the motor which another buddy has. I have the door tag. The truck was beautiful before he burned it. It was dark grey with a red frame and level 4 red interior. He went to JAIL!

Josh,
Minor question. Does Level 4 have the headliner and the doors lined with the same cloth as used on seats? Or another simiar material?
Unfortunately I don't remember a chance to observe it in person.
And thanks for the detailed explaining of the matter
No the seats are a different cloth than the headliner and door panels

Level 1 is grey with no door panels
Level 2 is grey with door panels
Level 3 is black or blue with full carpet floor and cloth seats
Level 4 is red(85-87) or grey(87-93) with full carpet floor, cloth seats, headliner, back panel, and door panels
I've included pic of all the interior colors with exception of level one(didn't have a pic saved of one)

There's a guy in Emlenton, Pa with a truck junk yard that had a cat powered superdog that burned. I don't know what's left of it. I know he sold the front axle and I think the rears. His name is Jeff I'll get the number off my Dad.

Any idea on the count of Cummins 475-powered Superliner 2s?
I don't believe any were put in Superliner 2s.

Progress Report! I got the frame sandblasted and painted, and I recovered the dash panels. I'm currently working on the 18000lbs front axle that I bought off of Doug Fetterly a few weeks ago. It came out of a Cruiseliner. Also I'm getting the rears ready for paint. Anyway here's some pics of the progress.
Thanks, Josh

Yes it is going to be a working triaxle dump. The price was right and I wanted a Superliner with a 12 speed and a V8. I looked at few dumps with aluminum rails and they actually seemed to hold up pretty good and there light wieghts were very low. I already have excepted the fact that eventually I will have to change the frame to new steel rails but until then I'm going to use these ones up. The rails are actually in very good shape on this truck. Also the work I'll be doing with it won't be hard on the truck at all. I'm doing the the way I want it I guess. All the triaxles around here I looked at were too high priced and/or had bad frames and beat to hell.
Thanks Josh

What kind of winch is on this trick
It's a Braden. That's going back to my buddy that I bought it from.

My buddy bought it off the second owner who never did anything with it. She sat for a long time.

Great find.
Why all the work needed on a 51K truck? Did you take the dash out? Missing the mirrors too?
RATS, Rats took over the inside and it smells terrible. Plus they chewed the original wire harness right out of the cab.
Thanks, Josh

Can I ask about the fuel tanks in the R700? It looks way to shiny to be ordinary paint. Are they chrome plated or chrome powder coated?
She has one original aluminum fuel tank

That's my brothers R700. He really did a nice job on it.
