Steel wheels on the front? Unless they pull a trailer with a 6' pin setting, doesn't look like the quarter fenders would be of much value.
They were temp wheels updated the picture with the new ones.

Mack or vendor rear ends and suspension?
Not Mack, I'll try and find out. I asked someone who didn't know, I didn't see any markings.

The new ABF order started today, Also noticed another order of 100 CHU's for FracTech, and more CXU's for Chili. NYC LEU's is also running. Who ever goes to the plant tour at the antique truck show should see an interesting variety of trucks.
ABF is different then most CHU's because the CXU has a in four battery in frame box under the deck plates.

Awesome pictures! Is it possible for you to post them in a larger size?
14.00R25. Those are Michelin XMH tries and if you look hard enough you can see there is a 25 at the end of the tire size. The XMH is only available in 14.00R24 and 14.00R25 and is geared toward earth movers and logging.
Biggier pictures. As far as I know this is how the truck is going.

Hey 3P, is Ames Const. still buying trucks? I heard awhile back they were supposed to be ordering a new Titan.

Sounds like a recent order to Easterday Farms in Washington state. I think they ordered 9 GU's.

National Geographic was in this week filming for an upcoming episode of Ultimate Factories. They filmed all areas of the plant and followed a Titan down the line.

Happy to see some Macks instead of all the KW's. The host gets very excited about trucks.
Did you catch the UPS guy call the engine in the CXU a Volvo MP7?

I know that service cabs are in the works, but I haven't heard anything about glider kits just yet.
I have not seen a glider kit for at least 3 years. That does not mean it will never happen.
Last week we built two CXU service cabs for UPS and Venezia, they were wrecked. I believe the plan is for the Mod Center to build service cabs.

It's an Isuzu that they take the engine and trans out of and repalce with an electric motor.

Some of the former Mack Engineers are now with this company. Rummor that it will be headquatered in Allentown.

Are the exports CKD or are they completly assembled?
Assembled to be exported. Saudi ones look cool black chassis with white spoke wheels. Set up to be mixers.
Something else I notice is the Canadians often order some of the nicest looking trucks. They get Rawhide, button & tuck, bright finish everywhere, leather seats.

A few big orders going on. UPS ordered 50 more trucks, ABF ordered 300 more, and PittOhio orderd 70 more. Some larger export orders 30 GU's to Saudi Arabia, and 70 to Chili on top of what has already been built.

We are currently building 79 more CXU's for Pitt Ohio.
