may 15 or sometime in that time frame our new titan log truck is being built. it has a 555 maxidyne mp10 and 18 speed i cannot wait to see this truck. i wish my dad ordered it with mack rears though. lol.
What is your GSO or company name on the order?

I assume you have dual boxes, four batteries. Nearly all CHU's with a sleeper are 4 battery.
-If you have a single L/S box you could have too much voltage drop. Consider adding another positive cable from the starter to batt box. We do that on GU's when the box is back on the left side.
-Do you have a disconnect switch?

also maybe a smaller medium duty truck to compete with peterbilt medium trucks.but there is no doubt in my mind they are better now than in the recent past
Any medium duty we would ever release would either be based off a Volvo medium duty or a UD. It is like that with all bands though Paccar, Daimler... The Mack Freedom was a Renault.

On most new trucks with the "IC05" cluster you can change be between English and Metric. You can also go in an see any active and inactive faults, and clear them. You can also change language, English, French, & Spanish. The Stalk to the right of the steering column allows you to do it.
If you don't have a stalk it is the base level cluster which is no longer offered. I think you can change some of the options by pressing the button under the display to take you into the menu.

Quick question seem there are some Mack employees here? The truly heavy spec truck 65,000 rears and 23,000 pound front.. we ran RD888sx's for years the granite has taken its place but rumor at local WorldWide Equipment dealer Mack is possibly planing a replacement for the RD possibly without the DPF for us to use off road here in the coal fields is that possible/any truth ?????
Not to my knowledge. The only non DPF in the US is for the military.

UPS order 1082 more CXU612's & 613's. We'll start building the beginning of April, around 30 a day.
Currently building some Air Products CXU sleepers, we lost them to Freightliner a few years ago.
GU production is increasing. We currently build some CXU day cabs on the same line "G" as the GU. All the CX are moving to the "H" line so the GU production will be around 40 a day. The CXU, CHU, MRU, LEU, and TD will all be built on the "H" line. We are even working Saturdays, this Saturday the entire plant will be running production on 1st shift.

1,823 trucks sold for January 2012. Closing in on being sold out for the year.
-
As stated it's the small orders that keep us going. The most common order is 1 or 2 trucks for smaller businesses.
-
We build 116 trucks per day. We ship 90 - 100 trucks a day Monday - Friday, and 60-70 on Sat & Sun. Typically supplier part shortages or paint repair are reasons we don't ship per build rate.
-
Yes, Unfortunatly the last guy who came missed his truck, the build was rescheduled. Anyone who plans to do this would need to get intouch with the Customer Center.

If all those orders for trucks were filled with normal productivity, one truck right after the other, and having no further orders, how many days would the plant operate before there would be nothing else to produce? Not asking for any reason, I'm just wondering.
Rob
How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a wood chuck could chuck wood.
Almost 8 days production to build 910 trucks.

Here is a few more bigger orders.
ABF has another order for 101 CXU612's
UPS has an order for another 530 trucks starting in May
C&S Wholesale Grocers has ordered 20 more CXU613's on top of what they have already ordered last year.
Jacobson Logistics is buying 259 CXU613's
-
Quality Carriers ordered 20 CHU613's which will start to be built around 1/31/11.

This week Macungie is the process of cleaning and painting the plant. It should look good when everything is done. We been throwing away decades of old stuff that is no longer in production. I have been saving some old maunals to see if the Mack Museum wants them.
