  1. GREENSBORO, NC (January 12, 2012) – The National Geographic Channel will premiere its episode of Ultimate Factories featuring Mack Trucks, Inc. on Saturday, Jan. 14 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT). The hour-long episode will take viewers behind the scenes, showing start to finish what it means to be Built Like A Mack Truck®. A heavy-haul Titan by Mack™ takes center stage as its Mack MP10 engine – top rating of 605 hp and 2,060 lb-ft of torque – rugged Mack Cornerstone chassis and air-ride equipped cab come together to form the most powerful truck Mack has ever built.

“Filming a show about Mack trucks was definitely one of the coolest gigs I've had,” said Ultimate Factories associate producer Francis Cordero in her blog about the episode. “There are hundreds of people involved in the making of this truck in three main facilities. We filmed at all three locations, the first at the Macungie Assembly plant where the trucks drive off the line. The second facility was the Powertrain center where the Mack engines are made. The last location we filmed at was the Customer Center where Mack trucks are test driven on a closed course.”

  2. "How many minutes MACK got on the show???? 6 to 12 minutes?? and Peterbilt got a full hour in the Ultimate Factories TV SHOW. I want an ULTIMATE FACTORIES episode about MACK TRUCKS so they can show that MACK is a fully integrated TRUCK built by one sole MANUFACTURER- MACK TRUCKS.

And yes Ultimate Factories already did a TRUCK episode, but they have done several car episodes (Corvette, Camaro, BMW) so they can do a better TRUCK episode with MACK TRUCK."

Already filmed Mack Ultimate Factories. Not sure of the air date yet. I'll keep everyone posted.

  3. Mack will be featured in an episode of the Travel Channel’s “Made In America” television series airing Tuesday, November 15th at 8 p.m. EDT.

Each week, host and Emmy award-winning freelance filmmaker/photographer George Motztravels to find out how some of the most iconic products in the world are made. He and his crew visited the Mack Customer Center for test drives and the Macungie plant – where they followed a Pinnacle sleeper built from start to finish and even installed the Bulldog hood ornament!

  4. 3P,,,,,,We know you jumped in the corporate helicopter,, Went to Australia for the picture then flew to Canada to take the picture of the stone slinger..... So we have our fix of new truck candy

I wish. I've been trying to figure out a way to get to Australia for years. My managers have always told me that they get to go first.

I keep sharing pics of new trucks so people might get the itch for a new one.

The completed trucks are from a internal Marketing email "Truck of the week". Typically Dealers send in photos and a little story about the customers and the success of the Mack's.
