Id like to see Mackpro in on this one for this guy. However for the hell of it can you check engine hours on the instrument cluster and see if you get a bunch of dashes? 

Not needed. Gift will be getting you back on the road.

Inlet and outlet check valves must be installed with the direction arrows on the barrels of the check valves matching the arrows on the filter casing. 

Yes lesson learned, can’t go with cheap parts on these engines. Always buy Mack parts. It will save a lot of money and headaches in the long run. 

Sounds like the vecu is losing communication with the vss. 

What trans do you have? 

You replaced #4 eup 3 times for a fuel leak?

Some of these had a front redesign type water pump arrangement. Which the filter would be mounted at the left rear side of water pump. In that case inlet and outlet check valves must be installed with the direction arrows on the filter casing. If it’s at the front of the coolant manifold just do what i originally posted.  

Where is this filter being mounted to on this truck? Coolant manifold or at the left rear side of the water pump?

The ball end of the check valve must be inserted first. 

It may help to provide a little more info than what you have. Your information is pretty vague. I’m a little confused by what you’re trying to explain…I personally don’t know much about the Vmac2, but more info can help the guys that really do know help you out more. Like the two that have already commented. Have you checked for codes? Who knows it could be a FIC module….

Vmac mentions about overcharging the coolant with SCA which is true. However there is a Mack coolant filter and a Mack coolant filter with conditioner (sca). It has a bunch of sca tabs in it. 

Is this math considered raciest too?

That’s because MEN are a dying breed! Also todays mentality is “just get the check” Not many take pride in their work and strive to do a good job. 

Most hydraulic shops will carry a wide variety of dot air line fittings. At least In my area anyways. 

Sure if the injector(s) are loose they won’t be sealing. Also if they used old injectors and they weren’t ok to re use this could happen as well.
