  1. Its got a 12 speed. When i first got it a couple years ago it pulled good to 1800 and its slowly gotten worse. 1800 was fine but 1600 isnt because when you shift its down to 1200.
  2. Fuel pressure is fine. No smoke. The pump is defueling like its governed at 1600. Empty or loaded makes no difference. Free revs to 2000. Just will not pull at all past 1600. On a hard pull its at 38 psi manifold pressure till you hit 1550 rpm then it starts dropping by 1650 its lucky to have 10 psi
  3. My e6 350 in my 88 superliner is starting to defuel around 1550 rpms. Im thinking it shoul pull good to 18 or 1900. It runs damn good till you hit 1550 and by 1600 it has nothing. When do your guys e6 start refueling. Im going to send the pump out im sure governor is weak. Thanks
  4. Measured my rw713. Rails are 3/8 thick. 10.5 tall. I cant measure the rw600 because the truck is a couple hundred miles away. But in the pictures the frame looks thinner
  5. I have a rw713 single frame tractor on camelback. Long wheelbase. Looking at a rw653 tractor on neway air ride. Its about the same length but its double frame. Question is how much heavier do you think it will be. And is there a frame difference on a rw700 vs rw600. Thanks
  6. You cant completely wear out a rd mack anyway so i would just fix as needed
  7. 1000 bucks i think. Its been awhile. Ill get the part number when im back at shop
  8. Sorry i just saw this. I just called antrim diesel and they sent me a holset turbo made for the e6350. If you have a bosch p pump you gotta slide the fuel plate forward to gove it more fuel. Im my case i ground it so it would go farther. It runs strong. I pull 96000 pound loads daily and as long as you keep the boost up the egts never go over 900 deg.
  9. I tried that. One one they were a little loose. But tightening made no difference on the leak
  10. Leaking out of the gaskets in between trans sections
  11. Holset hx50 from antrim. Mine makes 40 lbs boost with a ground fuel plate. It will run with 3406 cats
  12. They must be one tough transmission i have 2 12 speeds in RDs and all i hear is gears grinding from the idiots driving them. However i never gring a gear when i drive them. I also have a 12 speed in my superliner. The only complaint i have is all 3 of them leak oil. One leaks a gallon per week and the others are not far behind
  13. Im guessing alot more than i have on that head. The other 2 heads are fine
  14. Yes thats what i was thinking but the paint is not discolored.
  15. Put a manifold pressure gauge on it and report back. That being said macks drive different then any other truck. Anyone who usually drives cat or cummins and then jumps in a mack will say the mack has no power. They weren't built for racing but go run your cat with a mack and look in your mirror the mack will still be there
  16. I took the whole jake housing off. Started it up and barely any oil comes out the jake oil feed hole on top of rocker box
  17. No but you can pull the solenoid out on the jake and start it. Barely any oil comes out. Hardly enough for the rockers
  18. Imo if you really dont need cruise take that half electronic pump off and put a full mechanical pump on it. I knew a guy who had a superliner with a e7454 he converted to mechanical. It had a 18 speed mack and that truck would run with 500 hp big block cats like nothing. And im some situations it would walk away from the big cats.
  19. Update. 95 percent sure i got it fixed. Found 2 wires going to the vecu that has bare spots . Looked like they were rubbing on the box bolted to kick panel. Fixed wires. Taped everything up and drove it across a rough field and it never cut out. Thanks for all the ideas and help.
  20. Sorry guys i had to many other breakdowns the last couple days to work on this on. I will get back on it this weekend and let you know what i find.
  21. Well heres my update. I checked everything mentioned here. Big connector behind motor, checked all grounds again that i could find, power wires going thru firewall coming of starter relay on firewall. Pulled and shook every wire i can reach it never lost power and cut out. But drive down the rough roads and it cuts out. Ill keep looking
  22. Ok guys thanks for the ideas. Ill look at all that was mentioned and get back to ya
  23. I didnt pull the right kick panel but i will try that. Also it doesnt have battery isolation switch. I had someone drive it and i held my hand on the 4 relays in the dash. When it cuts out those relays are clicking so must be losing power to them.
