  1. Thanks,I will check it out.Didn’t notice much oil coming out.
  2. Probably hard to tell how many PSI without a gauge but here’s a short video clip IMG_9987.mov
  3. I had the line off at the wet tank, there was some air coming out.I wasn’t aware of the braided line,I’ll check that.Thank you.
  4. After troubleshooting all the common problems (no leaks, new governor, degunking unloader valves),I’ve decided to swap out my Tu Flo 500 for a rebuild.I’ve had the truck for a year and have been slowly going through it to get it roadworthy and make it a “rolling restoration “.The most air pressure it ever built was 10 psi and now it won’t even read on the gauge.I’ve made up my mind to just swap the compressor out and looking for tips and advice on the best way to do it without dropping 50 pounds on my chest. Thanks and have a great day!
  5. A sad state of affairs. Then the warehouses sit vacant for 2 years and they keep building more.Remember all the junkyards on Texas Rd?
  6. Congratulations and Happy Birthday!

  10. Always wanted a B Model and picked up this 57 almost a month ago.END673 and a Duplex. The truck sat for 5 years or so but after we got it home we pull started it the next day.New cables and batteries recently installed and now I got her to start on her own.Brakes next, then a fuel tank. She’s currently bottle fed out of a gas can.It will be a long term little by little restoration.Short term goal is to get it safe to drive and on the road.I’ve read these forums for years and they have been an invaluable resource.I’m looking forward to everyone’s knowledge and advice!
  11. Beautiful, back when trucks had real paint jobs and little plastic!
  12. 74 R model with a 237 and 5 speed, the F model had a 300+ and a 10 speed.I worked in the shop in the day changing oil, fuel filters and tires and at night I would ride with one of the drivers named Ritchie. We hauled Budweiser from Newark NJ to a distributor in Wall ,we'd drop the trailer and pick up an empty and bring it to Midland Glass in Cliffwood. We'd drop that trailer and pick up a load of bottles going back to Newark.Couple a turns a night.Ritchie would go in and get the paperwork and I'd go get the trailer and bring it back to him.Taught myself how to shift that 5 speed and the principal of the high torque rise Maxidyne and Maxitorque tranny. All at the ripe old age of 14,great memories and a love affair with Macks to this day!
  13. Swung by today, unfortunately no number on the for sale sign and no one around
  14. If I get back that way I'll try and get more info.
  15. Went for a motorcycle ride today and saw this old girl on Rt. 79 in Marlboro NJ.Don't know much about it but it looked to be in pretty decent shape.Little rust on back of cab and frame looked pretty good.
  16. Here's another. Think it's a 77. I do know it had a 300plus with a 10 speed.
