  1. years ago before the market crashed and we worked alot more we greased 2 times a month. now we grease every few months. we work 5 days a week but not as crazy as before. when we do grease most of the fitting are still full and push no water or anything. i have a 2000 CL713 tri axle dump truck.
  2. Anyone ever get the part number for the 60 series turbo to use?
  3. What year are the t800s? Also which cummins and auto?
  4. my father is looking into getting something different for himself. hes always drove Macks mostly. he had one sterling years ago and maaaan was that thing a POS. he also had a volvo 880 OTR truck as well all decked out. very nice truck. he wants to get a pete or a KW but hes leaning mostly towards KW only bc they seem to have little more room in the cab from front to back but either truck will do if they are within his specs. he wants an auto and no emissions bullshit. him nor i have ever owned any KW trucks. what are models/years/engines to stay away from? dump truck is the type of truck we are looking for in case anyone wanted to know.
  5. Mind sharing what you did? Maybe picture?
  6. sounds like it would take someone that knows all the systems to make it work right. age hasn't been nice to my clutch leg lol
  7. Looking for a set of dark blue door panels for a 2000 CL713. Manual windows. Without backing taps broken or ripper out. Might even consider black ones if both are in great condition. Wouldn't mind new if someone has.
  8. i have never seem or heard of one coming from the factory with one. would be cool if they did. i wouldnt mind swapping one into my 2000 if possible.
  9. has anyone ever swapped a auto (allison) into a CL713? is it even possible?
  10. Btw. On the 460xt vs 427. On my truck the 460xt uses about 5-6gals of fuel more a day. That's a rought number tho. Only on my 2nd day but there is noticeable difference in fuel usage for anyone wondering. My 427 and my cosins 460 got about the same fuel usage.
  11. what benefit is the detroit turbo? not sure on specs of each.
  12. wanted to updated this thread in case someone will be in the same position as me and wanted to know which way to go when they saw the thread... i ended up going with the 460xt file and happy i did. what i did was buy a used ECM and had the 460xt file loaded onto that. now i have 2 ECMs with both extremes. everything worked out fine. plugged the 460xt ECM into my truck and she fired right up. all i need to do is shut off a few sensors that my truck differs. other then that it ran perfect. now comparing the two files. when unloaded you do notice a difference but where it shines is when you are loaded. places where my 427 ECM would bog down no longer does now with the 460xt ECM. pulls nice and smooth. also gets up to speed faster which is nice. as for as cooling and gas temps. my water temp gauge with the 427 ECM the needle would be on the "8" on the 180 marking. now my needle is on the "0" of the 180 marking. thats the only way to put it since it didnt move much (lol) but again that could be anything. maybe the new file is setup to run like that. idk. but on my CL thats where it lands. the big surprise is my exhaust gas temps dropped about 100 degrees which is a good thing..... note- i do shift at a higher RPM then i did with the 427 ECM so that might effect these numbers as well. im pushing about 28lbs of boost with the 460xt file with a load on. i was told i should be in the 30-32 range so i might be down a few lbs of boost which i need to fine out why and when thats fixed it will even be better. i can creep to the 30 range if spin it up to 1800rpms but that seems like alot of rpms to me. im keeping in the 1600 to 1700rpms when shifting. never shifted even close to 1700 with the 427 bc it was dead before that. where the 460xt is pulling in that range. lastly if anyone is going back and forth which to get and your truck is setup to support this file i recommend it over the standard 460. i dont think id be happy with the non-xt file bc id just be wondering what the diff is just like i did with the 427 lol. also i wouldnt run the 460xt file if i had drivers on my trucks. your just asking for shit to break. most company drivers i know wouldnt know they needed fuel until the truck stopped on the side of the road. they are very careless. im a O/O so i dont have that issue. my plans are to run this XT file for a year and come next winter i might toss in stg 2 injectors ontop of this file but we will see how it does in the summertime. cant thank everyone enough for the help. especially Mackpro.
  13. Yea. Looks like those need to be turn those off.
  14. i bought a used ECM 12MS517BM to have a 460xt file loaded on it to install into my 2000 CL713 E7-427, the ECM that came out of my truck was a 12MS514M. once i stalled the BM ecm with 460xt file on it the truck started and ran fine. all gauges working (full gauge package). truck runs and drives without a problem. but as soon as i started it i got a 2-2 and 2-7 code pop up. didnt have any codes with the original 4M ecm. 2-2 is boost air pressure sensor 2-7 is engine oil temp sensor not sure why those came on. my engine oil temp gauge is reading. so no problems there. not sure what the boost air pressure sensor is tho are sure if my truck has these sensors or what is deff since the BM is a newer computer i was told. so can they be shut off without it effecting anything?
  15. headed to the store in the morning or maybe tonight. truck is at yard. anyone know offhand what size the piping is so i can make a boost tester?
  16. should i boost leak test it at 35psi to make sure? i dont want to damage anything (o-rings/gaskets) so wanted to ask first.
  17. do you have the tool that just slides over the studs and then after you bolt wheel on you slide the tool off or you have the ones that are aurally spacers that stay on the wheel/drum at all times?
  18. has anyone ran anything like this? http://www.tru-bal.com/
  19. i was told my truck should be seeing 24-32 psi.
  20. 2000 CL713 E7-427 without any modfcations. Im seeing 1000 degrees when pulling onto the highway but then goes down once up to speed. Is this in spec? Going to be putting a 460xt tune on my truck and want to make sure everything is working right before hand.
  21. Still all messed up my end as well. On phone and desktop.
  22. i dont have a code reader for the truck. in the almost 10 years iv owned it i can probably count all the times the malfunction light has come on, on one hand and still have fingers left lol its VERY rare. it only showed this code that one day for a bit and never again. if the EUP is mechanically failing or showing wear signs like the pictures posted will the light still come on? thats the reason i wanted to check them all so i can visually inspect them. my worry is one letting go and fucking something else up turning a $300 fix into a $3000 fix.
  23. the only heat shield i have is big stainless one that mounted on the motor. dont think there ever was any other shields for that truck unless im mistaken.
