Hippy (70mackMB) is behind the wheel either making vrooom vrooom noises or just confirming that the dog is further away in a B compared to his MB.
Rick is explaining to Bob (Red Horse) the secret for driving double pup trailers around from an out of business freight company. Apparently, wearing black shoes, black pants, black shirt, black hat and sunglasses makes you invisible! Rick did the Ballston Spa and Worcester show double weekend with his Freightshaker and trailers.
ROTFLOAO!!!! Thanks Jim! We WILL see you Sunday! lol Hippy & Rick......................

The Divco subject got me thinking about the many "purpose built" light and medium vehicles of the past like the "metro" vans and the old "checker" cabs which used a GM chassis and running gear. I believe private individuals could buy the Checker marathon which was the "civilian" version of the taxicab!
Funny you mentioned the old Checker Marathon. l just saw one in Concord NH last week. lt was in sad looking shape but still going under it's own power! Hippy...........

l had a small black bear in the driveway the afternoon of the eclipse. He was confused also as to which way to run. One end of the drive there was traffic and on the other end there was me on the tractor. Saw him again in the back yard 30 mins or so later. Hippy...........

I'm going with the outside width of the sidewalls for the flaps and fenders. And those tires you have on the drives are the BEST mud and snow tread going! Bandag Winterdeeps. aka around here as Wicked Deeps. Hippy........

People tend to forget the MB, but it was an extremely crucial product for Mack Trucks within our line-up during the 1960s and 1970s, and we sold thousands. I never met an Overnite or APA driver who complained, and their accountants loved them.
Of the thousands of MBs that were used for everything. Where the hell are they all?! Hippy.........

The solid shaft should break loose at the yoke housing. There will be a small keyed shaft inside of it (pencil shaft?) The one on the MB is longer to reach over the transmission. We had to spend some time and speak to it often to get it to come loose. Then it was into the vice to get the other end off...........Hippy
