It really is! After all the work the last two winters and painting it in October, so rewarding to be at this point. I’ve had a few friends stop over, that saw it sitting when I took it apart to store it, and can’t believe how it looks now.

(lol)  Can't believe how it looks ?   I'm not surprised how it looks. I think back to when someone questioned if parts of it were stored in the house. Your response was " the wife might get upset "  (or something to that effect)  so at some point you must have thought about bringing it in ? ??  (lol)  No surprise at all it's coming out nice

Looks in a really great shape. Besides restored interior and non-rusted rear wall of the cab the frame represents very good condition. Still can't figure the type of the engine it has. Something like a non-intercooled EM6 of 225 or so HP?

I could be wrong, but I do believe that is the legionary 237 complete with Jacob's engine brake .

  3. If you do install a Jake (?)  don't be afraid to set the lash about 20 or 30 thousands more than what's it's supposed to be.  You can sneak a little more retarding power out of it.  IDK ?? if the truck has a low axle ratio (like your's)  it might not be a total waste of time. They're better than nothing, but not much (lol)
