What ever did that had some serious force. I just hope it didn't bend an axle housing at the same time.

One reason I like old trucks vs new.
Mercedes semi truck fuse box on the left (one of many in the truck)...... my new harness and fuse box for my Mack on the right.
Yes I ordered the all black harness from E-Z Wiring as I think it will look cleaner installed. It is screen print labeled every 6 inches so identifying wires is simple. I said to myself for under $200 why mess with old questionable wiring.

Most likely a single cylinder. Similar to these other small diesels.

Why not mix the two 50/50 and then you will have the same hybrid ratio gear oil something like a 75w-115 in each rear end?

It had really really old green it it when I got it so when I drained to to replace the water pump, thermostat and all the hoses I replaced it with fresh new green. I also got the largest coolant filter with conditioner they had it has 12 oz or so conditioner. What will I hurt if I use this set up for a while before draining and changing over to red coolant?

I miss understood which lines you were referring to. My injector lines are hat plumbed with steel I just replaced the old rotted braided supply lines.

I have a 5 speed, not sure a 10 speed pto would work with it.
-
Ok I was thinking it might have had a rear or side mount pto. I failed noticing it was a former mixer with a front mount pump. Thanks

Does it have a wet kit? I see hoses in the last picture. Depending on what transmission it has I might be interested in the kit.

Maybe give these guys a call, they seem to have a number of macks that may contain your light.

Must be because only have those 5 simple speeds to shift up through.

Truck-lite now has heated lense LED head lights to take care of the snow/ice issue.

I just dropped off all the old rusty fuel lines and had the new ones made to match. I had a local industrial hose supplier make them from top of the line materials, way over kill but I would rather not worry about a hose failure.
I couldn't find any type of kit for them.

That is what I am working on but my parts stores are not the greatest.
A second question is there such a thing as to much conditioner in a coolant system?
I ask because the filter I have hopefully narrowed it down to comes in multiple heights and conditioner content from 4.8 oz to 14.4 oz.

I am having issues finding a replacement coolant filter for my 237. The one that came off it is to rusted to see any part numbers. The issue is I tried the Mack 25MF435B (WIX 24428) which has smaller threads than the WIX 24429 yet the threaded hole is still to large.
Was there an even smaller threaded coolant filter for some of these engines? If so anyone have a part number?
Thanks
