Got this Craftsman box in 1974 as part of a set- still have most of the tools. The roll cabinet is still in Appomattox at my late father in law's place. I'm going to go get it as soon as I get another shed.

Fyi.   I've returned a 1/2 drive metric socket set that was in a car fire and they gladly exchanged them for me.

Did you do anything to prevent the rails from rusting for the next caretaker? The best thing I've seen is drill and tap the outer and add grease fittings every foot or so. Then you can pump oil or grease between the rails.

Do people actually do this?    Is there enough space between the rails to get grease to move.   Seams like it would work, messy on a hot summer day, but would work.

Ever notice when you pass a bakery of pizza shop you no longer smell the good aroma of cookies of pizza?   A number of years ago the EPA came up with requirement for "particle emissions"  from the baking ovens. But we learned here that that rule protects the neighboring states from . . . something.....

The bakery I work for had to instal catalytic converter type things on our bread/bun ovens. Something about the smell of fresh baked bread.......

  4. At my dads shop a neighbor has a dog that would get loose.   We would be doing something and it would sneak up behind ya.   As soon as we turn around the thing would start growling and barking all pissed of at us.   We started keeping the tire cheata pumped up and close by.    The dog got close and blast him with a shot of air.   That dog would put his tail between his legs and run like hell straight back to the people's house.     Only had to do it a few times and it quit coming around.

  5. Just my inexperienced opinion is it would prob be better/easier to make the bunk match the cab.       If you modify the back of the cab you won't have factory style interior peices to match anymore. The front of the bunk could have a large peice of aluminum plate bolted/rivited put on the front to make the ne opening.  it would be hid behind stacks and inbetween bunk and cab out of sight.        There is a guy on here in the process of putting a KW on his superliner I believe.   I'm horrible with names but pretty sure it's AZ something or another.
