  1. I’ll try and find you pictures.     I swapped mine out from a fld freightliner.      If you can search my old posts some how i believe in the antique section I posted pictures and what parts I did.      Only thing I’m not sure about is what hubs I used.     They came off a different axle then what I used but helped tuck the tires in the fenders a little more.

  2. When I did my front axle swap I removed 3 short leafs on each front  spring pack.    They where the leaves that where not in the clamps holding the pack together.  It made  quite a difference.  Still rides like a truck but helped.     My wheelbase is 190” and I have freightliner rear airride.   It rides pretty nice.

I sat down in one of those a few years back.  The steering shaft angle appears to be different (steeper) than a B61 (flat-back cab).  Yes, the wheel hit the stomach sooner, but seemed to miss the knees a little more!  I guess you have to decide what body part you want the truck to hurt!

The 67 also has a smaller diameter wheel then the regular B does.

753: Isn't that CAT powered? Looks like it needs rescuing although the cab looks rough.

It has a 1674 cat and looks like a 13 speed and 4 spring reyco.   I think the L in the vin means light weight?   Looks to have a bunch of aluminum brackets.    Cab looks to be about beyond repair and hood is broke several place too.    I’ll keep ya’s posted.

  5. Finally got the engine out today. Made plates that bolted on the intake rear head and the exhaust front.  Came out nice.

But now I have a question.  My engine is sitting level on blocks on the shop floor and the bell housing has a bolt directly at 12 o’clocK.    The Tranny is also sitting on the floor level and has bolts at 11 & 1.      How is the bolt spacing on a standard B?   I know my pattern is to create the 18 degree tilt of of the engine and keep the tranny level.  Just wondering wich is different for the b67.    C2B8F1B3-8466-4A8A-A233-0273B9BD4C97.thumb.jpeg.f77894933ea29eab5af528b5aed1ffa4.jpeg

Some of the mack transmissions are pretty long, hope when it is balanced tail shaft does not hit the bottle jack.    terry:MackLogo:

My Mack Tranny is already out.   Prob be the last one I have.(but I could be wrong). The one I copied the yoke sat right on top of the crossbar for jack just like it was made for it.
