that's not my truck, my interior is gray, and I keep my plunger where the other gear shift is in this truck. I do have the leopard cushion on mine too though.
I never ever saw a donut like that at Krispy Kreme

Bobby,
Would you post a picture of your air tank bracket in detail for me. I'm interested in changing the location on my B to the left side of frame instead of the rear of the truck.
Thanking You!
mike
Sure!

Look above the glove box the green is showing through!

The Macks we like are the real Macks. If you get down go out in the yard and fire your old Mack up!!!!!!! A few years back we had some cabover volvos @ UPS. I've seen drivers go home before they would drive one.

does any one want a steel nose for an R? and a steel dash unhappy cab?
Grant
Have seen a couple of those steel nose R-6oo . They were coal trucks, pulling dump trailers

Iam working hard on the front end getting the paint off so I can polish the aluminum . I cant wait until I get to get the polisher after it .I had a hard time getting used to the 615 fromt end, but Iam over it now. It seems there is always something that needs doing both in appearance and mechanics. The nice thing about that is when you lose your patience on something ther is still something else that needs attention!

Hi !
Thank you Bumblebee !!!
You are welcome. Glad to help!

I run Rotella in mine. 7 yrs without issues. Mine was surprising clean inside too?
About this filter issue. I know mine has the two large lines, one small. Can't recall what filter # I run, but am curious if there is different ones for same housing? This always peaks my interest, as I never remember what I have.
I only put 5-7Kmiles a year on oil change so I don't get it very dirty anyhow.
The Mack I run at UPS in lexington has 1.7 million miles on the chassis. Only the second engine. They use Chevron 15w4O.

Man do I agree with that.
Rob
I didnt break it and I cant fix it. Besides Im too busy sanding and scraping to watch the news!

Don't need no gauges in a Pete. Ya got idiot lights!!
While Other Dog entertains hisself by "toting the mail"; Us "common folk" get to endure the increasing postal rates to cover the fuel, insurance, wear and tear, and convelescent care for the delayed onset of insanity due to operating a Pete at such high speed, etc......
Rob
I did run across an old B-model firetruck this weekend that had morphed into a yard truck etc. It was green inside too but a different shade. A little darker in 1954 than the 1964 I have

Look for the guy on ebay that sells Mack truck sales literature. It is mostly spec sheets that have a picture of the truck represented in the upper right corner. They are for sale for about 10-15 dollars a piece.
He is on ebay as Penn Dutchman antiques and collectibles

Are you talking LOAD rating - like how much can she carry on her back without going through the floor?
Sick puppies

I prefer photographs of persons in their natural surroundings. Very much unlike the phony, doctored images of the most recent post.
Looks like the bones have done been picked clean on the latest images.
Of course you could pop it in soft, pull a stiffee and listen to the bones crack I suppose?
Rob
You guys are crazy and we are all going to get in trouble!!!!!!!!!!

I'd just go to the hardware store and get a quart of "Rust Oleum" paint, (your choice of color), and a long nap roller and decent quality paint brush. No need to worry about all that masking, trimming, bugs, etc. when you are working on a Pete.
Wait a minute. This subject pertains to a Mack. Nevermind........
Rob
I was going to save my roller for the outside!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Bobby,
I did get your message but, when I tried to reply, the television went out, also the computer would not respond. It gave me an error message that I tried to correct but at no success. When I came back after the power came back on, the message was gone. But I did get to read it. Sorry for your loses. Glad you can pop back and let the B help put some quality time in the void areas. My first truck event was last year near Louisville,Ky, I believe it was Shepherdsville. Anyway it was a small town on the west side of I-65 south of town in a park. I joined AHTS but they probably won't show the small local events. I would like to be posted on the Kentucky truck and tractor shows when they come up.
For Now
mike
The Midamerican truck show is March 19-21. The national Farm machinery show is feb 11-14.You can register for the truck show online, they have a big website up for it. I will also tell you of local shows as I learn of them, Bobby

If you look under the dash or heater may have a part that you can take with you to your favorite body shop, they can match the part you brought them. This may sound strange to you, but it can work if you can find a part to take with you. Some trucks were painted the company colors. All B Models were painted the green inside unless special ordered by a customer. As with any other trim on that truck. Keep us posted on your improvements so we can enjoy it with you.
Best Regards!
mike
Thank You! Iam working on getting some pictures up. I have wanted an old B-model all my life and bought one Thanksgiving weekeknd!

How many different shades of green did Mack have for the interiors of their trucks? The paint couldnt have been all the same shade for all those years! What aftermarket spray paints have you used? Are you happy with the results?
-
Many Thanks!!
Ihope all that grime got you a cheaper price when you bought it! It looks real good. Its amazing what a little elbow grease and Armor all will do
