Drive line out of phase, hanger bearing, u joint, input bearing on rear end and if u have air ride, make sure to check ride height. $3000 sounds VERY reasonable for that job. Include machining flywheel? Pilot bearing? Rear seal? Every 8ll I had was noisy as hell. 

Don't forget about the Mack Jr bulldog. A smaller version for the pickups.

Superliner II, MH and CL's all used same radiator. You could get more cores though. 

Make sure the didn't put a lower arm in the upper position and the upper in the lower if it is possibleon your brand of axle. That could change kingpin angle. Also tie rods and make sure u have enough air pressure in the bags

Rebuild injectors and run the overhead. 

I have a 2001 460 with a million miles and 38,000 hours. Never done bearings or anything yet. I do injectors and valve set every 250,000 and change oil every 10,000 miles using Rotella.  Did 1 water pump and 1 alternator. Only thing oil samples show is high soot levels. 

It's way easier to pull the seat and floor out than drop the driveshaft, unbolt any air tanks that are in the way, jack up back of engine, and then find out you gotta pull the floor anyway to get the shift tower off. Plus you can give the cab a good cleaning and soundproofing. 

I wanna see the sleeve seals he talked about on an E7.

Joey, you should move here to Minnesota. At 60 dollars an hour you'd be so busy you'd never have money problems. Mack dealer here is $150 hour for in shop labor. Independent guys are around $100. 

Yeah, that's total bullshit. You can try to contract fuel and play options. That will save you sometimes. I have a couple 10,000 gallon barrels I fill when it's cost prohibitive. But this will kill the country. 

I would see what they actually used that truck for. Why does it have that low of miles? I remember the 2004's. You could find them with low miles for years because they couldn't keep them on the road.

I think the dog dish flywheels had bolts wired. 

Make sure hub is completely clean before sliding on drum. TRP parts are junk. I had brand new air bags separate from them. 

There was a brand new one on ebay a few weeks back. 

It should have both ports. But you better ask the seller to be safe. 

Depending on model of truck. There's just a Bosch relay you pull out. I'm a big believer in dlr's. They really do help.

No recaps for me. To much twisting on my straight trucks. They get ruined pretty fast.
