  4. No I got the Allison 4500RDS! I have a few Buddies that have them and the Mack dealership told me there customers swear by them that there great! This way I don't have to worry about clutch, it will be easier on drive shaft, I ordered the Dana Spicer SPL 170 SPL 250 heavy duty driveshaft! They come with seal guard and don't need to be greased for the 1st three years or (350,000) miles, and once every 6 months after that!
  5. What type of Mack you order LSI? I'm bring a new pup home too. I just ordered a Granite Dump with ten Allison in her with MP8 with 445 Hp. I took that same step of Faith also in buying New. The down time and Break downs was costing me so I figured if I'm going to be in this industry it was time to step up and step out!!!! Did you purchase the extended warranty?
  6. Ok buddy pics would be greatly Appreciated! And thanks for the feedback I think I'll get the 45 degree. And 1 st I thought that extra lip would be nice got rep at bibeau told me his custy's love em!
  7. Trying to Find out what company has the Best insurance Rates for us Truckers and who Treats you like you should be treated when your equipment is damaged? I know that most of them will never pay what truck is worth if it's totaled but being I'm getting new piece of equipment I need someone who at least uses vaseline!!!!!😁😁😁😁😅
  8. Was word earring if any of you dump Truck owners or driving have a Bibeau bed with the 45 degree angle bumper? If so how do you like them? What's better the 45 degree bumper or the tail gate with the lip on it? Also does any one have any pics of the Bibeau in Cab Control Tower??? You guys insight would be greatly appreciated many thanks Mightyfruit!
  9. I told the I wanted a Bull Dog engine and this is what they sent me!!!!!'
  10. Tree98 I had and have some of the same concerns! I'm getting a new truck built this year! I just stepped out on Faith that the new one will save me less problems than the older ones! How I see it with the older ones you have parts, labor, and down time! With the new ones you may just have mostly downtime if something go wrong! Hopefully with emission problems being around for a while you would think that the American mechanics great minds and Technology has come up with Solutions! I'm like you a little scared of that payment but hell it wouldn't be not fun without a little Challenge! My whole career I've been with Mack (all older trucks) Rd's, Cl's. Well I want to and got to know for myself is Mack going to continue to live up to its legendary name!!!!!! " why must I chase the Cat, because it's the DOG in ME"!
  11. Take it to Mack and have them go through it!!! Trust me what you pay them you will be able to deduct from price because they always find something that needs to be done! But the main thing is to make sure that nothing Major is wrong! Also dont be scared of Going up in Money to find something nice, if its going to save you money in parts, labor and most of all DOWN TIME!!!!!!! I'll tell you when you get something from a 1 owner you most likely can get a maintenance record. And you still have to watch them. But when something has been run through the auction you really don't know what your getting. Take some good pics and post them! And let some of these guys go to work!
  12. 84superdog check out this link on that M ride! http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/topic/2065-what-is-mack-m-ride-suspension/
  13. Thanks once again for imput! I Think with the Allison Tranny and the 445C like REEL ADDICTION said should be fine! Plus I will probably save in cost of upgrade and in Fuel!
  14. Ordering new Granite GU713 6 axel Tuesday and just wanted to know the pros and cons between the Two engines. Fuel, power, speed, weight, cost difference for bigger motor! It's 4th quarter and need to know which way to go!
  15. I appreciate you guys input but I'm going to stay with Camelback! Thank for input! But I will get Hendrickson SCT13 lift axels! I hear that they are great!
  16. Was looking at the Hendrickson Hn and the Hualmax! What are the cons about them? And what type of work you do?
  17. Does drivers usually select this option or is it really not necessary?
  18. Yes building a new Mack Granite GU713! I'm use to having power divider lockout! Over they got this truck spec with rear axel, Mack CRDP2021/CRD2031 with Mack INTERWHEEL POWER! Sales rep tried to explain but I don't quite understand! Could someone tell me the difference and in what Application would I use it! I will be doing mostly asphalt and aggregate but if things get slow I would do demo in slag ect. For the INTERWHEEL it's and additional $6790.
  19. Yes building I new Truck can anyone please tell me the difference between these two Suspensions? All I've had was camelback! I'm building a new truck and would like to know the Pros and Cons! I do all kind work whatever pay the bill asphalt, dirt, gravel, demo, slag LMF. Now that I'm getting a new truck I'm trying to get away from the landfill but it times get ruff I will go? Anyways you guys advice will be greatly appreciated! Many Thanks!!!
  20. Checked with Bibeau and the recommend I get Bibeau BFL-S for the type of primary work I do here in ohio. They said that the beds hold up well the floor is just a little thiner 3/16 opposed to 1/4 on the BMT model and it weights 1000 pounds less. The high lift gate will run $1,600 more for that option.
  21. What is the difference between Power Divider lockout w/warning light and Buzzer (includes in cab manual valve) , and The Driver controlled inter wheel differential lock both RR axles, manual air valve w/warning light? Speccing out new truck and trying to get a better understanding on this! Also what condition or should I say jobs would the difference make! Someone please give me an example!
  22. Sounds like the lift gate is the way to go! Does anyone have an idea of how much more for that function! Like I said I'll be doing mostly asphalt but as you guys know with a New Truck payment I Must have options if things get tight so I'll be will to do Demo, Dirt, concrete, salt, sand ect!!!!!! I live in ohio so to make decent money we mostly get 5 axels (3 tags axels)! This will be my first new Truck so my next move must be my best move! Last three years maintenance has been putting me in the whole with parts, labor, and down time! So I down sized kept one truck that will be my spare and I figured I'd get a new one with a warranty! Have a few purchase orders for blacktop this year so I said what the he'll Take the chance! I'm praying all goes well! Plus with a new truck if I need to leave state to find work I figured I'd have a trust worth truck!
