Welcome Steve!. Where in southern Vermont are you at? I'm in Guilford.

I would guess the 5th wheel weighs about 3-400 lbs. Two people can handle it.
Or do it the easy way

On that remote mounted filter is that a full flow or a by pass filter and what size is those oil lines there?
glenn.
Sorry I took so long to reply. I kind of forgot about this post.
The filter housing is Wix # 24750 and the filter is Wix #51749. It is hooked up to the same inlet and outlets that the stock cartridge filter was. The holes were even threaded already so it was easy to hook the lines up. I used 3/8" line. Another member on here (twostickmutt1@yahoo.com) used this same set up on a fire truck he had, so I just copied how he did it. Seems to work well.

Nice looking rig!

I wonder why they are selling those wreckers. Very nice trucks and should definatly still make money.
I was wondering the same thing. Maybe they went out of business?

Hi Guys - we've recently purchased a restored 1951 Mack LTL running a 1090 Hall-Scott
Is it this truck? If so, very nice truck!

Here is another Mack for sale from the same towing company

That Superliner wrecker is on ebay now

One other simple thing to check is make sure the brake pedal isn't sticking down just a little. Sounds dumb, but I got fooled by it once.

I also looked all over for a filter for my 707 and was unable to come up with one. So this is what I did.
If you are doing a true original restoration, this probably wouldn't be the way to go, but for me it seemed like the best choice.

Glad to have you back Pedro!

If there is a nice picture here of my dogs, I think I am making progress!!

I saw this nice R-400 at a show yesterday. I had heard that they made these with Chrysler gas power, but had never seen one until this one. I didn't see the owner to talk to so I thought I'd ask about it here. Does anyone know how many were made with the Chrysler engine? What transmissions were avalable? This one appeared to be a 2 stick, but I couldn't see into the cab to see exactly what it was. Very cool looking little Mack.

Everything they do on that show is all f---ed up.
I agree. There were a few (very few) that they did in some of the earlier episodes that I kind of liked, but it has gotten really stupid now.

It was a good show today. Here are a few pictures
This is the first Hall Scott truck I think I have seen
This next one is a BCR
I took a lot more pictures. You can see the rest here

:bmod1: Your links were broken, so I fixed them. There was an extra http:// in each one. They are good videos , I have had them saved to my computer for quite a while :bmod2:

I don't think the videos are going to work here, but if they do,the first one is the first drive in my Mack, and the others are just stuff Dutch recorded while we were working on it.
I don't see any videos in your post, but I looked on Youtube and am guessing these are yours.
Assuming these are the right videos, thats a really cool Mack you have!

A little bridie has told me that there is going to be a B61 featured on CMT's 'Trick My Truck' in the near future! Of course Watt's & BMT are going to be involved and we will keep you posted as details develop, but that is all I can say right now!
I just hope they don't mess with it too much. Some of the trucks they have done have been nice, but most of them have too much dumb gimicky stuff.

Very nice Fleet!

Cool. I don't get over that way too much, but maybe I'll see you around sometime.
