is the site down again?.............if it ain't broke don't fix it.
It does seem to be down again. I can't get on either.

I looked on ebay but could not find them - are they still on there?
It looks like the dump might not be on there anymore, but the tractor still is.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1968-DM811-Mack-tractor-/320857166618?pt=Commercial_Trucks&hash=item4ab493d31a

i should have read that a little closer tim. i saw HINSDALE and have been racking my brain (whats left of it) on who had the trucks here in town. then it dawned on the dumb one....NH not MA. steve knows where the one in mass. is
I sure do. It still sounds odd hearing Hinsdale mass to me though, because I'm so used to living right by Hinsdale NH.
-
Hmm. I wonder if they are still there. Hinsdale is just across the river from me.

Must be built on a B-61X or maybe B-81X chassis or something.Looks heavy-duty!
I don't know for sure, but I was thinking the same thing. It is rugged, thats for sure.

Here is one from my area that has been at a few shows.

Yeah it was 60 here in central PA! Unbelievable!
Even up here in southern Vermont it was over 50 yesterday. Very odd.
-
Sorry for your loss.
-
Here's one that has been visiting here in Central New Jersey for the past few weeks. Only the second Titan I have seen here in "the flesh". Sessler Wrecking is out of Waterloo, NY.
-John
I'm not sure if Sessler has more then one Titan, but I saw one up here in Vermont a while back pulling a lowbed. Could be the same one.
-
I'll be there. It will be my first time and I'm really looking forward to it!

Anybody know if thats the original bunk ? Truck almost looks too short for it.
I don't know. No one was around the truck when I was there. Maybe Rick got more info?
-
Here are a couple pictures I took of it at the same show. Cool truck.
-
Isn't that a B-71?
-
Is it a re named Volvo I-Shift, or something different?

What is a "Tow plow"?

WTH!!! I get a call back from Adelmans and they don't have any screw on filter setups they can sell me. ???? What? Apparently they don't have any bad cores to strip parts from. Everything they have is complete/running and won't separate.
Geez.
Larry, It might be worth checking with Global Truck Traders. They might have what you are looking for. You could PM counterman6, he works there.

Rob, I'm not sure what route you are going, but if you are coming through Vermont and want a passenger from there to Manchester let me know. I know the route well and have even been to Josephs once(although I can't remember exactly what road it is on.) If I can be any help let me know.
-
Phil, I think it's at Joseph Equipment.
-
I couldn't see the B-81 but the DM and RM look great!
Here is the fixed link to the B-81

how do you shift the 2 stick 12 speed? Do you just use the main and split like the single stick 12? then use the aux for low and reverse?
I could be wrong, but I think the second stick is just for the deep reduction gear. I think the splitter and reverse are still air shift on the main stick. I bet Herb knows for sure.
-
Mine has been coming just fine.
-
Good luck with it. It's a VERY nice looking truck!

That was me that posted the new link in the other thread. The board is down today even at the new address. A message comes up that says "Forum is Temporarily Offline", so I guess they are probably working on it.
