  1. the case is stamped TRTXL1070B so I would assume that I have the later single stick version? im wondering if just a cover goes over the hole where the 2nd stick would normaly be?

I think on the early version the 2nd stick just put the trans into low low. With the later single stick version they just put a air shift control for that hole?

I think you are right about the second stick just putting it into low low. I'm not sure about anything else. I just by chance happend to see that cutaway picture of the 2 stick 12 speed as a new picture added to someones gallery here on BMT today and thought it could be what you have.

  2. remember when cersosimo had a fleet of all macks rd and dm and ch and cl models ? now there all shakers and paccar.

I heard that they had a lot of problems with the last batch of CHs that they had. That could be why they switched. I will say that their new KW W900s are some sharp looking trucks. Last I knew they still had one R model with a log loader or something on the back and the dirt side of the company has a Granite 10 wheeler(something they got used. Its a brownish color and doesn't match their other trucks.)

  3. A town called Wells Vermont. About 15-20 min from Rutland, and about 30 min from Manchester.

I've heard of Wells, but don't recall ever being there. I'm way down in the south east corner just below Brattleboro. Let me know if you have any Vermont questions I might be able to help you with.

  4. Really? We rented a Penske truck a few years ago, it had air brakes and we did not need a cdl to operate it!!

    Tom

I know that in Vermont if the truck is under 26k, no cdl needed regardless of whether or not it has air brakes.

  5. Thats a sharp LT,the red one, with "Eilers Brothers" on the door, looks to be a pretty rare "Aero-Liner" aluminum sleeper on it as well.............................Mark

  6. Phil, never met you but heard all good and you always have some really neat trucks for sale.

If you (or anyone else), is ever interested in something that Global has for sale and would like someone to take a look at it, it's only about a 20 minute ride for me to get there and I'd be happy to check it out.

  7. Yea guys, rub it in cold and rainy here.

It's cool and raining right now down here in southern Vermont too, but they are saying by the middle on next week it will be in the mid to high 70s. It's been an odd year, that's for sure. Do you still have snow on the ground up there?
