  1. Interior of the cab is complete- I have all the upholstery panels to go in the sleeper, the inside of the sleeper is not finished.
  2. Here are some more pictures of the inside of the truck- it was getting dark, so I don't have pics of the inside of the sleeper- I can get those tomorrow if anyone is interested. Thanks
  3. Hey all, Due to financial reasons I need to sell my duck truck, will consider all serious offers. I would rather let you guys know about it before it goes on ebay. It is not a rs700l, the grill is a 700l scaled down to fit the r767st hood. Has a perfect NTC350 cummins (have driven it est 600 miles and the oil is still crystal clean ), 13 speed and it has been back halfed with ford rears, truck runs and drives great. has a fold down bull bar, new exhaust from turbo all the way, new clearance lights, grover horns, fuels tanks from a ch mack, sleeper was a mid 90's freightliner double bunk scaled down to match the movie sleeper dimensions. has very nice clean interior. the air shield is the exact type the movie truck had.Truck was painted when I bought it, sleeper and frame has new paint. my email is robert_steele71@yahoo.com. Truck is a 1978 r767st model. Thanks, Robert
  4. Thanks, I found a tanker exact year as the movie truck but the funds are quite low right now so I will have to wait.
  5. It's a replica truck. I always dreamed of making a rubber duck truck and I found this one as a beat down day cab in nc on its way overseas and snagged it just in time. Spent a lot of money and sweat and busted knuckles making it nice again.
  6. Had it out on the road Saturday evening to the local car cruise in. There are more people there that knows what it is than at the Flying J truckstop. Was a nice night out!
  7. sweet pics! Man, you guys have all the cool truck shows up there! Here in Fl there isn't any around except the Wildwood super rigs show.
  8. That would be cool! I saw the guy in NC that has the Smokey and Bandit Kw replica used to put on a nice truck show but stopped. I emailed him about it but no response. Maybe the economy put the squash on it?
  9. Thanks everyone, I see Kris Kristofferson is coming to Live oak Fl. in October and I emailed his media and booking people to see if I could drive the truck to him to get a picture or autograph but no reply yet. Would be way cool tho!
  10. It was already spliced when I bought it as a day cab in Albermarle NC. It is a Hendrickson looks like off a old Ford 9000, Thanks.
  11. There is a old F model sleeper truck with twin stacks and its a tandem, Been sitting in putnam hall Florida since 1978 ( near Keystone Heights) never stopped to look at it tho.
  12. Thanks, It has a 350 cummins and a 13 speed, It doesnt shift into top gear till almost 60 mph. Still alot of work to be done but it is getting there!
  13. Finally got the sleeper fabricated and mounted , finding a mack sleeper has proven impossible so I located a late 90's 63 inch stand up Freightliner double bunk sleeper. We then cut 11 inches out of the top and made the exhaust cut out which all of this was a nightmare but I think it turned out ok. I painted the sleeper and installed the decals. I have restored cars and motorcycles before but the work that goes into one of these is crazy but well worth it. The truck will be out and about to the truck shows and local cruise-ins. Thanks to all of ya'll for tons of info, Thanks, Robert. Would like to make it to Macungie next year with it to hopefully meet some of you guys.
