What motor is this out of (photo?)? I worked on a 345 IH gas motor years ago, clattering to beat the band. We were prepared to pull the engine, thinking it was a rod bearing. Turned out one of the porcelains was loose in the spark plug, bouncing up and down with every stroke.

The B under the milk truck is one beautiful machine.

That is a nice one...I like the wheelbase, not too long and not too short.

The clutch brake adjustment is important, but free travel on the pedal is more important. I don't know what the spec is on this truck, but you will have to adjust the linkage somewhere if you free travel isn't good.

I like the KW...do they call that a K100 like they do in the US? The polished square tanks look great; you don't see many of them over here.

I worked on a few trucks that you had to get inside the cab to do motor work--I sure am glad I don't have to do that any more! The tilt cab was great for maintenance that didn't involve radiators or aftercoolers.

Nice! Any idea what the horsepower difference is between stock motor and the V8s? I assume Ford didn't make these tractors stock with the V8.

Beautiful tractor. Pics of the restoration were posted on here awhile back.

Clariben made fiberglass replacement hoods for several different trucks.

The was a green B on here with a brick pizza oven but it was open sides. This one is / was forsale in Orange County N.Y. I think it was listed here too. Paul
The B I saw had open sides so that could be it.

Was it a burgundy color B?
I actually don't remember the color...the truck had been restored (looked fantastic) and had a custom body on the back.

It's been a long time,67, but I seem to recall that F model along 77 years ago! Do you run 77 a lot? if so did that F model seem to be recently parked along 77? I used to run that route a lot and that F just rings a bell!
I don't run 77 a lot...the truck looks like it's been there a while (no engine in it). According to the Google it's for Alliance Tractor Trailer Training...still in business.

Looks like some nice fab work on those mounts...can't wait to see it done (post a video!).

This truck is pretty interesting...it would be a great resto project for someone with a lot of patience.

I was coming through Wytheville yesterday and saw a decent-looking F model being used as a billboard along 77, possibly for a driving school. Anybody have a name or photo of the truck? I don't see many Fs in Ohio any more. Also saw a B on a trailer rolling down the interstate, in mint condition with a custom body on the back...possibly some type of food service body.

Very nice looking restoration of that FP.

That's a fine looking rig...love those old lowboys!

I'm assuming you changed the fuel filter, right? That's a common problem.

This truck isn't near me, just posting an ad I found.

Those new frame rails look plenty beefy. Do you use this truck to make a living?

I certainly hope that thing has more than a 238 in it.

Amen to your words! I hear we need free healthcare, free college tuition, free childcare, blah blah blah. Guess what, someone has to be earning the money to pay the taxes for all that free stuff!

I thought those were exhaust pipes, but looks more like they're smokestacks!

Looks like you are doing a super job on this truck!

I see the fifth wheel is raised up off the frame--is that set up for a specific kind of trailer?
