  1. I am selling my 1975 Mack RS700L V8 end dump. Truck is in great mechanical condition. I'm unsure of the actual mileage being I just fixed my speedometer. I am the third owner of this vehicle. Both owners had their own work done to the truck for road legal repairs. Rear ends rebuilt in 2009 that I have documents for. A little about the truck. It's again a 1975 Mack. It has a 49,006LBS rear ends and 20,000lbs fronts. Brand new tires on the steers and first drive axle, and %75 and rear axle. The vehicle has no oil leaks or AIR leaks. It is %100 road ready and legal. DOT inspection is current as with the registration. It has a 13 speed road ranger transmission, shifts smooth with no grind or slippage. Clutch is in fine condition with no slippage or clutch break problems. Well that's pretty much it... and it does have a 1 stage dyna-tard brake that works great and is very loud and beyond effective. Any questions or comments, please feel free to let me know.
  2. Does anyone know where to find info of a 75 Mack Rs700L V8 with the 318 Detroit Diesel? I can't find specs on it anywhere. The VIN number doesn't give me any info most likely due to age,but I would like to know about the weight specs, axle ratings engine stats and more. Just wanna know alot more about the old girl. If anyone has any info for me or links to a site for it, please let me know, thank you.

Send a email to the Mack museum with the vin. They heave records of all the macks built.

  3. Stepping a bit higher into the seat of my truck than I'm use to, I remember my heart beating out of my chest and the sound of that sweet detroit just rumbling. As I adjusted my seating and checking gauges for my run through, It was finally sinking in, "I own my very own 1975 Mack RS700L V8". Being that my first truck was a 1977 Kenworth W900 with another detroit diesel, "the truck was alright,it didn't get me excited to drive it" also canadian made. Not saying Canada doesn't make a fine truck to be imported into the US but lets be serious here. AS I continue doing my checks it was departure time for me and what I have now named "Ol Red". The intense horses that followed after the clutch was released was immense. The horses, the broad power; the scream of this pure natural running beast was incredible. Speed-eh not the fastest but with +38,000lbs of loaded weight screw speed, Ol 'Red won't let me down. Ladies and Gentleman I went into this purchase a Kenworth fan left wanting to buy an american bulldog. Heres to you MACK!
