  1. If the 673 has the older crank, the one with the hollow rod journal's I would not! My dad turboed a couple back in the 60's and thay all broke the cranks, but when we changed them over to the newer style we had no more prob. also do not put to much fuel to them unless you have a block that you could put the piston oil cooler's in. Other then that I do not see a prob. just make a nice 205hp out of it, I'm going to turbo my Super 250 Cummin's and make it a 290, also puttin a Pyro in won't hurt good luck!!

I am going to look at a 78 MB this weekend and the only thing that is wrong with it is its non turbo I'm assuming there's a 475 or 673 under the cab I drive a MB that has a turbo and it can get out of its own way a non turbo truck has to be really bad. Thanks for your imput Rudy
  2. Somebody in here had an ex-Overnite MB607 tractor for sale awhile back. There is one for sale at Erickson's in Jackson,MN with a utility body on it.It's listed as a B67 on the Truckpaper site.

I seen that one it looks like the cab is beat up quite a bit and they asking 8500 or somthing like that

I found a MB 600 box truck in grate looking shape in California but getting it here to pa

Would cost more then the truck is

  3. Hey guys I need some thoughts on a trick I bought to strip. It has a non turbo 711 the truck I'm.restoring has a turbo 711 it the non turbo engine worth keeping around.

The truck also has a triplex and its tandem axle the cab is wasted and the frame as well. I bought the truck for interior parts and other odds and ends. The hood, fender filler panles ,grill loovers are good and ate for sale I can't use them because my other truck is a b81.

  5. We have a mb in our dept,it is still being used as a front line pice. She's a 78 with a hamerly body has 40,000 miles and has seen a large amount of fire but still don't match the quality of a cf but I think the mb was and still is a grate truck and I would prefer it over anything modern.

  6. I have a small oil line coming out of the driver side block where the rest of the lines come out to the luberfiner, it dosent look like theres another port on the luberfiner for this line .

There is another unknown line coming from the coolent manifold. The top pic is coolent I'm guessing my finger is on it. The bottom pic I'm holding the line that gos to nowhere it has quit a lot of oil come out when I start the truck.
