It is stamped on the front of the passenger side frame rail between the spring hangers behind the tire sometimes it takes a wire brush and or putty knife to clean the frame enough to read it

At my last job I drove a 1980 Superliner with a V-8 and you could see where someone filled the holes where the V-8 emblems had been they also had a 1980 Superliner parts truck with the emblems still on it

Don't know for sure which month but I think the R-Model came out as a mid model year change because their were a lot of 65 model B-Models

Buy you a good battery disconnect switch and install it in the main cable between the starter and batteries they should hold a charge better then

I don't know if they still make them or not but all those engines I have seen used a Vickers pump find your local Vickers dealer and they might be able to get you one

There should be a vent on your tank a lot of times they have a vented cap to allow it to relieve pressure much like a fuel tank if you cycle the system a time or two then take the cap off and it has pressure that is more than likely your problem

If this is a endt 865 or 866 and the reservoir has fluid in it but the power steering doesn't work the input shaft on the pump could be broken as this was a common problem

I have three Mack transmissions that needs a new home one is a good Trd-67 that I took out of my B-61 and replaced with a Tr-720 The other two are Trq-7220 both have issues one has problems in the main box the other has problems in the compound so I was told by the guy I bought them from I no longer need them if someone doesn't take them they will take a trip to China via the local scrap yard
