Those of us who actually drove over the road know they took a lot of liberties with tractor types in convoy! Looks like some Hollywood type went to a truck auction and bought the cheapest trucks he could find.that r model day cab with the "kangaroo guard" looks like an oilfield truck

Is that r model a "compound" if so I wonder if Kris actually drove it?knowing him he probably did! I'm pretty sure Chuck Napier drove the f model in "moonfire" it was a "compound" as was Richard egan's r model.I'm doing a survey... What was the stupidest "trucker"movie ever?
