theakerstwo Posted May 31, 2009 Share Posted May 31, 2009 That will be a 2" pull type and dont know but could be a 14" or a 15.5" but you can tell by you self by pulling the dust cover on the bottom and looking in there. HK Trucking Posted June 1, 2009 Share Posted June 1, 2009 That year and engine, I'd bet on a 14" double disc pull type (dish type flywheel).Before you decide that it needs a clutch, see if the pressure plate can be adjusted. Maybe someone unfamiliar with this setup tried adjusting it at the external linkage and had unsatisfactory results.(Don't tell the seller that though, maybe you can get a steal of a deal on a truck that only needs a proper clutch adjustment).
