james j neiweem Posted March 24 Author Share Posted March 24 Looks like they want to build two very separate models for heavy haul and logging. 1.) One a heavy haul conventional tractor with Cummins X15 (probably 18 speed or Allison) 2.) And the other is a Scania diesel hybrid with generator and motor like a locomotive I wish them luck. They seem to have a pretty good team together. They are looking for investors. DavCut Posted 5 hours ago Share Posted 5 hours ago I’ve been following the #Edison Motors guys for a while on YouTube. Very interesting to see the company evolve over the last couple of years. From what they’ve said in their videos they never intended to build a conventional mechanical drive truck but have has so many issues getting the hybrids approved for on road use that they have pivoted to production of at least a few mechanical trucks to get some sales under their belts.
