seems it is as you say :: lines cut for scrap copper. apparently who ever had enough "brains" NOT to cut coolant copper lines for profit!!  cut the low air / along with every other copper line,.keep the faith YOU can rebuild  a part of history.

Beautiful project, best of luck with it.In the first picture it appears to be hooked up to a trailer.Did you get the trailer as well? If not Id be interested to know what type of trailer it is....

defiantly good to have extra parts, either for trading material or might need for the next B model you get, can't have just one !🤣. hopefully the BMT crew won't be kept in suspense waiting for verification of vin / model. it's for sure a B; the concave back usually is a B67. door plate will tell if it's there. or frame rail. picture looks to have fuel tank missing cap. start up may require bit of system cleaning.

Yes he still has the trailer but the landing gear is seized and I told him I would be interested if he still had it down the road after I get the truck back on the road. My profile picture shows the trailer better. But he used it to haul steal.

Not sure what the parts would be worth.

Yes it show b61t and 4 other numbers I reached out to the mack historical museum and they sent my build sheet and information on it. Also what is bmt crew not sure what that is? The caps were missing before I purchased the truck but already replaced most of the fuel lines.

bmt crew stands for Big Mack Truck members, as you will find out with your Mack build this forum is like a pit crew  which work as a team .  not doubting the model as B61 , the concave cab associated with B67 , a design made to  accommodate longer trailers still maintain tight turning radius
