On my 93 MH, its a E7 V-MAC 1 and I recently discovered one of the steel expansion plugs on the rear cylinder head is leaking badly. Problem is is on the front side of the head so that means its between the cylinder heads.

I need to bring the truck into the shop from out in the parking area to get it tore apart, but obviously the low coolant sensor tells Vmac to shut down the engine.  I only need to run it about 5 mins to get into the shop but its a pain with it shutting down every 15 seconds.

What do I need to bypass that coolamt level sensor on the radiator tank? Im thinking about a resistor but not sure what value.

A paper clip wrapped in electrical tape will do..

Joey, just to be clear....this is the old style sensor that has a ground screw terminal and then the sender terminal that holds the terminal with a nut.

Before I tried shorting the sender terminal to ground,  I wanted to ask for advice.

Oops. My mistake, thought you had the 2 wire sensor. Can you take it out leave the main wire on, and hook a ground wire to it  and put it in a pill bottle of water,  and wire tie it to the top rad hose.. Just curious.  Never done it but I would try it..
