So I have a cv713 dump truck with a Ai 427 and a t310mlr with 4.42 gears and live in the mountains of Western NC and it does pretty decent if you can keep it the right power range but I always feel like I don't have enough gears I am a Eaton guy so I fight with the transmission more than I would like to admit but my biggest issue is I fight egts all day pulling mountains and hills and I constantly feel like I don't have enough gears so I took the resictor muffler off and straight piped it and that did definitely helped some and I know I need 5 inch exhaust I have the down pipe part number from grand rock and the other piece raneys sells but I have a manifold and turbo from a etec motor I was wondering can I put that on without injector and still spool it and make decent power and could you put a file from say like a etec 460 or something on it

So do you think the turbo and manifold will work without upgrading injectors I have talked to Rochester and they recommend injectors and I understand I could get more out of it but I honestly am okay with the power I have if I could really use it with out it heating up so I feel like adding more fuel puts me back in the same boat and I understand etec motors have a different more desirable power range and I assume that's in the timing and fuel delivery in the tune file so would my computer accept a tune file for a etec

I would suggest just do the manifold and upgrade to 5 inch exhaust and see how it feels to ya! Injectors can be done at any point! Just got to let it breathe! The turbo should spool better with the manifold setup! I think your best to stick with the 427 program it was meant for the gears you got a wider rpm band!  The 460 was meant for a multi speed trans 18 speed!Try it with the basics first! Is the manifold you going to use for a CL ? That model was tipped slightly towards the engine!
