We got the clams in CT, now we're on I-84 in New York. Google says it's about 2 hrs. and 40 minutes to Fogelsville.

If anyone's in the Kenly, NC area heading up or down I95, I recommend Big Boy's. It's the only truck stop I've been to (I haven't been to many non-chain truck stops, lots of Pilots and Loves) in NC with a family-run food joint. And they kill it with good ole Southern class. If you're not in a truck, there's several nice restaurants in the Selma/Smithfield area; I personally recommend Zach's Char-Grill in Smithfield, family-run, cheap, fast, and great hamburgers, and the Chicken Barn for great chicken at a little bit of a premium.

Excellent thanks for that fried chicken that’s another thing that’s hard to get around here. Nobody knows how to cook it. Believe it or not. KFC has got some pretty good stuff. I don’t know what happened over there for years. I did not care for their food at all past 15 years I’ve been three of them. The food was amazing.

and yes, it’s very hard to find Independent truckstops. I’ve never really used a  whole lot of them other than fuel ….. driving a freight truck most of my life always had hotels, restaurants, and a lunchbox

Not a lot of difference Bob. We switched from - well, no, I switched from U.S. Cellular to T Mobile and complained all the time that it wasn't near as good, but now I hear a lot of people complaining about U.S. Cellular too so I don't know. I never had a problem with U S. Cellular.

I always stopped at Big Boys, no problem finding a parking spot either because all the super truckers had to go to the Pilot or the Petro.

That no bar BS as a real pain in the ass I dumped AT&T long time ago and went to Verizon because there was a stretch of road. Didn’t get any signal around 200 miles that was singular had something to do with AT&T I don’t remember what that was all about. Signal is horrible.

That or the Kenly 95. Sure it's huge and has some neat display trucks, but it's not worth stopping at unless you like spending a premium on whatever you get from the truck store.
