paul.madrid2 Posted January 30 Share Posted January 30 I know this question has been probably been asked in the past, but trying the search function and scrolling through hundreds of pages is time consuming so... I'm restoring a 79 R 685 ST and I need to know where the oil temp and oil pressure sensors are to trouble shoot those systems, they're both inop. Can someone tell me where those sensors are on that motor? I wish I could find a manual with all the pieces parts labeled, but till then I'll ask the experienced folks. Freightrain Posted February 2 Share Posted February 2 Oil pressure should be in top of filter housing. Oil temp? Maybe in the pan would be my guess. Pressure should be mechanical with a copper line.
