E7 427 turbo upgrades ?

I’m new on the forum, and an by no means a subject matter expert on Mack. My knowledge on Mack’s is minimal. I currently am running an 03 ch613 with a factory rated 427 E7. This particular truck is primarily used for pulling an end dump, but does on frequent occasions haul Heavy equipment. The plan is to upgrade to stage 3 injectors from Rochester diesel. My question is, is there a better/cheaper option as far as a turbo upgrade to compliment these injectors. I’ve been told that swapping a Detroit turbo can be done and that they perform well. Is this a viable option as far as bang for buck/ease of installation. Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated.

S475 1.32A/R for about 650-700 will work perfectly with stg3. Look into the blixxton programmer from rochester diesel. We run one on a 99 460. Everything else is stock on it and it pulls damn good.

Check out this video. A 93 we just put a mechanical P7100 on with some work done to it. Not even close to stock

Nice, so foregoing the injectors and turbo for the box is a safe and reliable option? I’ve seen them before, just don’t ever hear much Feed back on them.

Yea on the 99 we run one. Besides that it's stock otherwise. Definitely noticed a nice hp gain and about 0.5-0.6 mpg increase also. Imo do that 1st and if your not satisfied then go injectors/ turbo

I’ve had people me ruin putting 460 program in.  I’ve gathered over time though reading on this forum and a few others that the 427 seems to pull better. Im sure due to a flatter  torque curve and build its lower in the rpm Range. Not trying to kill my engine, I’m gonna do rod and mains when I got with whatever I decide as added peace of mind.

Imo more power never hurt anyone, as long as its used wisely.
