fastboater Posted September 17, 2021 Share Posted September 17, 2021 I did a transmission swap from a Mack 5 speed to a Eaton 8LL. In doing this I’m going from a mechanical drive speedo to electric. In two of my '78 A models, I went to a GPS driven speedometer from speedhut.com. They are fantastic in my opinion, because they don't care about component changes, tire sizes, or anything because they're satellite driven units. I LOVE them.
