I followed your ordeal of changing over to the 237 and you are running the triplex is it a double over? I threw one in my b after I slid in the newer 673 engine and I am really liking the hot stick reminds me of my old 4x4 in my old autocar. You said yours's is noisy so is mine but for what I do with mine I think it will last as long as I can still drive the truck.

Mine is single OD.  If i had the chance I would take some more gear out of the back.  When I did the air ride I put 4.10.  I think I would have left the 3.70 in it had I known I was doing a repower.  The clip had 3.70 but I knew I didnt have the power to pull it so the yard let me swap it out for no charge.

 

Ya, my triplex is noisy.  Some day I would like to replace it with something else.

18-speed Quadruplex.  Double over.  Adds the lo-lo range.  Still has all the Bulldog Cool of having 2 sticks.  Real Macks need 2 sticks.  Not necessarily if you're gonna work them, but definitely if you play with them!

Loved the RoadRanger that came in mine, although it was direct (no over).  But, hated not having both sticks...
