Chris121 Posted September 11, 2019 Share Posted September 11, 2019 Looking for some help on the location of the oil temp sensor. I have a 2016 GU813 with a Mp7. I went to Mack but all they showed me was the coolant temp sensor. According to there system it says coolant/oil temp sensor but when they gave me the part number everywhere shows it’s just a coolant sensor. Any help would be very appreciated. Mackpro Posted September 11, 2019 Share Posted September 11, 2019 Oil temp sensor is in the oil pan on all the MP series engines . And when I say in the oil pan , I mean you have to remove the oil pan to replace it . The oil level sensor is also part of the oil temp sensor. Would you know where the electrical plug comes out at? So I can locate it just to see if I have a dirty plug or bad contact. And just to be sure the sensor is this one correct?
