0 41chevy Posted November 12, 2018 Share Posted November 12, 2018 The wire has a spring contact that rubs the contact plate. Did you check the horn relay to see if it is good? Check the horn ground also. 0 markrandi Posted November 12, 2018 Author Share Posted November 12, 2018 Ty. That's what I thought but Nextran keeps telling me it's just a button, spring & plate, nothing else. They can't find a contact on the computer. I've since gone to a different dealer in a different part of the state who said they ordered it. Your horn normally has power to the button, when you push the button it grounds the plate and horn blows.
