RA45 Wheel Seals

Recommended Posts

Strange a bit but sure possible.

On the other hand you can't always be sure an old truck has all its parts original. And as long as you already got that issue I'd take a hub off ans measure the seal. Pretty sure no problem locating a new one knowing the sizes. And that's the way I always have to do. Could also check for a reference having parts ## but actual size is a double-check.

My 1945 Mack has 88AX110 front spindle seals. Those cross with newer Mack seals used in R-model and avalible from Stemco and others. Also sometimes you can modify parts when can't find a seal of a correct size by machining or sleeving of a shaft or making a spicer tube to accomodate a smaller OD seal.
