0 Mackpro Posted August 12, 2016 Share Posted August 12, 2016 1999 Etechs can be bumped to a 400 with a download at the dealer. No hard parts. However they like for you to install the bigger vibration damper. Any thing bumping Etechs that are 350/400 up to 427 or 460 require turbo and injectors and cam shaft key way replacement to keep from overheating. This is for the 1999- 2001 ETECH engines, the 2002 CCRS ETECHs and ASETs all have straight camshaft keyways regardless of HP.
