Mike Posted November 9, 2008 Share Posted November 9, 2008 I had to replace the radiator cap on the B, just wondered if the cap I bought from NAPA and being a 10 lb. cap is correct for this application? The gentleman at the counter said I may want to go with a 7 lb. cap if my cooling system was needing service. I'm not sure yet. Mike Posted November 9, 2008 Author Share Posted November 9, 2008 Hey Glenn,Our local Mack Dealer told me friday afternoon that it called for a 10lb. but I did not buy from them. The old cap seemed a little weak on the spring but, I thought what do I know. It might not be the right cap for it that was on it when I got the truck. So I got it from NAPA. I have not put it on yet so i'll exchange it for a 7 lb. I do very much appreciate your judgement and help! ....... I will write this info down in the Mack Manual sent to me from the Mack Museum.
