TorresTransport Posted July 4, 2014 Share Posted July 4, 2014 So I just bought my first Mack truck a 2005 CHN613 everything has been going ok so far, in 2 month I've put in about $3500 in a oil change, windshield and windshield wiper motor, oil pan gasket, and other crap ...but I'm really screwed on this one ...the turbo oil drain/return hose is leaking ...and its costing me $230 just for the hose ...is there a cheaper alternative? has anyone out there done anything or used anything else to replace this hose without spending this amount of money? ...oh and my truck has a E7 427HP Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
wheeler73 Posted July 4, 2014 Share Posted July 4, 2014 It should be an ASET AC engine and the turbo drain tube does crack. Also the flange at the turbo is known to bend. As far as I know there is no aftermarket drain tube. I have not seen anyone use anything different either. Also the egr cooler bolts to it where it meets the block.
