I have a 1985 Superliner 44O HP E-9 the truck runs local hauling one way 90,000lbs gross if I disconect the puff eliminator, will this cause me any problems? I can live with the smoke and am the only one who drives the truck.

I removed the puff limiters from both of mine, if you drive it like you should there's very little smoke. However if you crank the governor way up and remove the puff limiter and just roll into the throttle hard it'll smoke like an old freight train. Its neat!
