Mack rear gear ration and spider questions.

Recommended Posts

I`m looking for a set of hubs for my B81. I have 11.00r24 tires right now. Found out there getting impossible to get.

I would like a set of 22 inch hubs so i could run 12.00 r 22.5 tires. Even tho the 24 inch tires look better.

Am i better to go with bud hubs or stay with spiders? (like the look of spiders tho)

I would deff be intrested in higher gear ratio rears.

700`s

Can you still buy gears for the old rears?

Axle info is

CRDP112

A50789

11KHA5113P6

R-824 (( or the 4 could be a A))

I believe the numbers on the spiders are 8QJ3144P2.

It is a 1962 Mack B81 SX.

Thanks Paul

think youd be better off findin a newer set of 58 rears out of an Rd or Dm. that way youll have newer style everything and easier tire options. im not sure if you can get gears for the olders rears, the R is ratio 8.24, slow as hell, even with a double over quad box
