wtesta Posted May 29, 2011 Share Posted May 29, 2011 my truck has a air restriction activation message and I can't figure it out can anyone tell me what that means.A Brand new Air Filter was installed yesterday that is when that message popped. Good luck, Stevethe air filter was inserted in the correct way and i have no idea how this message popped up i am just guessing that this could be a issue with these new engines I think the truck has the MP8 engine and that this is the 8th issue so far and the truck is still under the extended warrenty. Mackpro Posted June 1, 2011 Share Posted June 1, 2011 We have seen this problem and its usually a loose wire connector not pushed all the way in at the large firewall/bulkhead connector.
