the air filter was inserted in the correct way and i have no idea how this message popped up i am just guessing that this could be a issue with these new engines I think the truck has the MP8 engine and that this is the 8th issue so far and the truck is still under the extended warrenty.

my truck has a air restriction activation message and I can't figure it out can anyone tell me what that means.A Brand new Air Filter was installed yesterday that is when that message popped.

Found the problem it was a defective cam in the engine

Has the truck ever had problems with the DPF and did you ever REGEN the DPF filter because if it does not regen it will kick the engine MIL If you never regened the truck before it is very easy. -
It is a gu713 because i looked up the same kind of truck on truckpaper.com .I think it has the MP series engine

i will find out because my father drives the truck for a company all that i know is that it is a granite and that is the only info that i know at this time i think it is a MP series VMAC IV

I can not tell if the engine is blown or what or the injectors are gone my truck has had many problems for it's year 2008 my company has to sister truck's both mack same year model.the funny thing is it is not throwing any codes it is just acting funny.
