Gents, sorry to have not answered lately. Been real busy outta town for the most part, but, worse was I could see but not log in..now it works,weird.. Mary is going to start allowing people to visit and go thru all the parts. She has a price list for the larger items/trucks, but she will price stuff, its hers anyway. She may ship some, but smaller stuff. Anything large,, cabs,etc ,, you guys would have to coordinate. 775-267-2445. Please, be reasonable about stuff, she might junk it before giving it away. #1 - get rid of the electoral congress, they tell you who we voted for, even if we didnt #2 - doesnt matter who they are, or what party,, vote them ALL out,, do the same next time. maybe they'll get the hint who's in charge, and they wont be there long enough to do much damage #3 - hope and pray the military upholds their sworn duty to defend the constitution from all terrorists against it, foreign AND domestic. Lots of ammo being stashed by the govt, and lots of equip being moved around to weird places. #4 - everyone pays the same minimal amount(percentage) of taxes. Remeber the rich are already paying more, 15% of 20million, is stil lots more than your 37% of 50thousand. 10% from everyone should be more than enough. #5 - quit giving our money to foreign countries, until we have paid for all our needs here. Let them get a job, and/or create them. Thats how we did it. #6 - if they aint here legally immigrated, they gotta go. If they go do it legally , they can come back. I dont care what color or background. #7 - move the UN to afghanistan or somewhere else, soon

Well, its on its way. It will need new batteries. We charged with two trucks, and almost got it. Then we filled the air tanks from Rays' superliner, then pulled it toward the hill. Ray got outta the way, Bruce coasted it, then dumped the clutch. It hummed for a bit, then caught hold the last 5' before the flat, and started. Bruce proudly drove it out to Rays' dropdeck, and backed it on. Below is a pick of it loaded, and Roys kids and grandkids as they watched it go. They were glad it wasnt gettin melted, but were sad to see his history go..

For all of you who knew Roy Collier of Minden,NV.. I hate being the bearer of bad news but, Roy passed yesterday the 4th. Anyone that knew him, knew he was a logger and a Mack fanatic. Real good guy, and will be missed. Some will remmebr his most prized possesion....

Now with that said... most all companies wont insure a working truck that old. My suggestion would be, get a much newer powered frame, to put the old B cab n hood on. Find a wrecked or cheap 80s-90s truck, strip its body, and replace it with the Bs. Make it look as much as possible like an original. Parts will be easier to find on the road, and it will be a 'newer' truck to insure/etc.. more power, and can handle todays higher weights. A couple things that never cease to amaze me lately.... 1. why anyone, including californians, would stand for carb's crap. 30 head people, telling millions what they will no longer do with theiur life and property. Just say no, and boycott that place. about 3 days should do it. 2. why would anyone, who has owned an older truck(not a falling apart rust bucket), that has maintained it, and knows its parts are good,, would spend 180k+ on a new truck, with a crap engine, that the dont like anything about. just upgrade the engine to meet the newer specs for what,,30-50k?,, and keep all the other stuff you like, and know works. seems like thats about 100k+ savings,, assuming your other one is most likely paid for. we know what todays warranties are worth, and most newer trucks look like crap and are plastic.. payments have to be cheaper on 30k than 180k..

other.... u must be considered dangerous... mine is less than $200 thru gulfway.

Loyal, yes. But, it must meet the standards of the truck at the time it was built. You will be doing it slower, but it was always done before, and the roads have only gotten better since the B was built. You wont do it very long in CA though, thanks to carb. Make sure every thing is 'healthy' before you attempt it, and stay the hell out of CA(everyone should anyway).

Cant ask Roy as he cant communicate any more. heavygunner, didnt see a manual, yet.. some info.. -White4000 has no tag on engine either, but see the block #s in pic. about 240"wb -Grn B73(?) cant see serials, 220+-wb -yel B(?) no trans/engine, sn in pic, wierd add-onflatbed/axle combo, never seen this before -8v92 Aug.78, was running when pulled, too much noise and oil drips for CA forestry&CARB, so swapped out -WhiteLogger is a 44, sn 250760 but engine serial gone also SOLD -lots of tube wheels -set of sqhd's in 4.88 -set of Mack trannys -Brown Lipe aux -L cab and frame and parts (unk) -another green L cab and partial frame, front cutoff. hangers were being scrapped when I stopped her. BobD, got out there to day, and its still as sweet as ever. Stored inside. Its an LTHSW. I cant tell the engine, as tag not there, just like mine.. Maybe you can tell.

Dover, it should only have 1 12v wire from the switched side of the key, like Bob said. Someone probably broke the wire from the switch and was too lazy to pull the switch and replace it, or could figure it out so just tied another hot wire to it. Either way.. fix as described. There is a thumbscrew facing the fan, to manually override it when they fail. btw, make sure you dont hook it to the ACCessory side of the switch, or it will be on when it shouldnt, and burn out earlier...
