Dayton rims. What would be the tallest tire and rim compared to the original 1100 24?

So, is it the consensus that I wont be able to replace the 1100 24's on the truck>  Nothing else will fit the rims?  What tire (rim) would be approximately the same diameter (height) as the old 1100 24's?

Would a 1100 24.5 tire fit a 24" rim?

Would a 1200 24.5 tire fot on a 24" rim?

Are there any tires that will interchange with the 1100 24 tire?

I am referring to the AC Mack truck.  The spindles rotate around the king-pin bushings installed in the spindle, the king-pin remains fixed.  There are no grease fittings on the bottom of the king-pin.

I don't think he understands the question.  I jacked up the axle and checked the thrust buttons on the bottom of the steering pins and they were .10 as described in the service books; didn't help at all.  Pretty hard to hook up power steering since no place to mount pump on engine.  I thought about machining the bottom of the axle pinions and installing a thrust bearing but that would take the weight off the buttons and place it on the axle.  I just can't imagine a new truck would be that hard to steer.  My '29 Ac has pneumatic tires and very low mileage.  I know solids would be much easier to turn.

My spaghetti arms are getting to the point where I can hardly turn the old beast around.  Has anyone come up with a way to improve the steering on the AC Mack; power steering, lengthening the steering lever, shortening the steering gear lever?  Does the weight of the front of the truck bear on the brass button on the end of the steering pin or the machined surface of the front axle?

Found r 6.34 on real bogie;  does this mean the ratio is 6.34?

Thank you j, this was helpful.  I found the numbers are depicted in the tech sheet but it doesn't tell me much.  The carrier says CRDP 92.161.66, what does this mean?

Adding spring brakes to my old trailer.  Have service brakes only now, what components do I need?  Have relay valve on truck (B75 Mack) for truck spring brake:  do I need another relay valve on trailer, or what?  Simple diagram for a simple man, please.

Trailers do not require insurance in California. Insure the truck with JC Taylor and don't say anything about pulling a trailer.

15 bolt. Need water manifolds also.
