What kind of power take off would fit the Mack TRL 107 (5 speed) transmission (right side, 8 hole pattern)?

I want to put an hydraulic winch on my B61. Has TRL 107, five speed transmission (34 tooth countershaft, straight cut gear)' where can I find a pump to fit this?
-
Looking for recommendations for gas powered winch for my lobed. Something to mount on the upper tongue, 20k (+-) capacity.

Checked all fuel lines to and from the pump but still found no leaks. Truck will start and run briefly after sitting a day or so, then dies. Could there be a leak inside the pump itself? I tried forcing compressed air from the tank but found no leaks. Would a check valve be needed?

All good ideas. What is a good brand of 3/8" flexible braided hose? I see many different brands (Amazon, Summit) but some seem to have problems.

My '60 B model loose prime after a day or so. Checked all the lines for leaks but can't find any. Could I install a fuel pump in-line or maybe a check valve. If a check valve where should it be located?

Thanks Jeff, pulling a long hill the gauge does get up to that but for not very long. I guess that's ok?

What whould be the maximum exhaust temp on the ENDT 673C?

Thanks Weasel, would you know how to do this?

The engine is a 673C, 250 hp; should I leave the governor alone?

My '61 B model Mack (237 engine) has a United Technologies diesel pump, it seems to be governed at about 1500 rpm, can't get any higher than that. How can I adjust the governor to allow higher engine speed?

Any suggestions for adding power steering to my '59 B61?

If I could get $1300-$1400 a ton I'd sell all my equipment. Tell him you'll give him $100 over scrap.

NO, i didn't buy a battery. I was being polite when I said "woman", in reality it was more like a three-hundred pound gorilla. I didn't want to start anything with her , she probably could have taken me.

I neede a 12 volt battery as a spare used to jump any vehicle in my shop. The woman behind the counter asked "what year, model"? I said any generic 12 volt will work; that didn't work so she asked the same question again. I told her it didn't matter, I just wanted a BLOODY TWELVE VOLT BATTERY, do you understand. Well, I guess I had a bad attitude because she said "Don't go there with me"..................I'll never go back to this Napa store again.

If you are replacing these because they have failed I think you have the answer to your question

I just wanted to know if anyone is using push-to-fit fittings and what brand they were using.

Thanks for all the input. My Ridewell axle lift control panel came with SMC DOT push-to-fit connections so that's why I was looking for appropriate connectors. Regular sleeve compression fitting would be usual but if Ridewell uses push-to-fit then shouldn't they be as good, durable?

Can anyone recommend a quality SMC DOT 3/8" tubing and fittings for air brake system? I bought some cheap tubing and connectors on Amazon and they all leak. A waste of time and money.

I'd rather play Russian roulette than lift this engine with that car-engine hoist.

Ok.. I guess I'm not the right guy for this one.. sorry sir. I would just drain the oil and look behind the cover.. I also don't have the svc. Manual for that tranny either.. if I did I would send you pictures.. sorry sir.. Jojo
Thanks anyway.

So it's a twin stick? After you drain the tranny oil, you can pull the bottom rear bearing cover. There you should see female splines in the end of the counter shaft. That is where the PTO months. There is a special bearing cover for PTO mounting..
This is a single stick, five speed. PTO take off plate on left side. Didn't want to drain all the oil out just to see the gear. TRL 107.

X107's use the lowere counter shaft for a PTO drive. If you take the PTO cover off. You can look to see if the PTO drive gear is on the countershaft between the speed gears.. It's been over 20 years since I built one, and I am forgetting.. Now if the tranny is a 200 series, the gear is there.. I had a bit of confusion on what tranny you have since it was at first a 5 spd, then a 2050, now its a 107.. Mybe you could take a picture of the stamping in the case so we can see exactly what it is.. Jojo
Thanks Joey. Here's apicture of the stamping on the left side.
Power take off
in Engine and Transmission

Sorry to be so vague. I want to put a winch behind the cab. I'm thinking hydraulic but a gear driven winch would be just as good for my purposes. Just need to figure out what power take off would fit this transmission, I can connect a pump or shaft to it. 8-hole, left side, 34 straight-cut gears
