I would really like to put together a B63 350hp. . . to run ≈ 20k a year... think it would be great fun!

So tell me murranji, what does it entail? Anything tricky?

Can you easily mount a water/air cooled tip turbine to a later model 4 valve e6? This would be for a B model re-power.
-
Ok, two questions. What is the difference between a b61 and a b63?
Second. I see that some of the tip turbine after-coolers have coolant inlets and others do not. Is this a horsepower thing or a date of production thing?
Did Mack ever produce a 350 horsepower tip turbine two valve engine? Sorry three questions.

Did the L cabs have a standardized color as well?
-
Were all B-model's interiors painted that green color from the factory or were there choices?
Secondly, where would you find the VIN number stamped on a B-model. If there is no tag, was there a spot on the frame?

I have read/heard you guys mention Dale Francis, but my suspicions are that he may be a little busy/pricy....???

Ok fellas, I am seriously considering purchasing a Superliner with an E9-500 (a life-long dream). This is only possible because it has a spun rod bearing making it much more affordable. I am seeking recommendations from members as to a trustworthy, capable, and knowledgeable mechanic to "go through" this engine.
I am not seeking 1000 horsepower either (5-600 is fine with me). I am located in Western Pennsylvania and would like to find someone within reasonable distance.
Any suggestions????

Where can I get a Dynatard set-up for an ENDT865?

I am from Bulldog country Pennsylvania, and it wasn't very common to see Fuller transmissions in mack trucks, but whenever I see a Canadian 80ish r model, it seems that they'll more often than not have a 15 speed Fuller.

Does anyone have information about why you see so many Macks in Canada with Fuller transmissions?
