We had an E9 that had that same colour blue under the grey I always thought the blue was painted on by someone at some point in time I've never seen another blue motor. I always thought they were supposed to be a Machine Grey colour. My other 2 are grey.

Judging from the pics it looks to be in decent shape.

I'm not keen on the new logo either. I prefer the old one.

Very nice! I like the CHU looks good too.

Maybe if the trailer came with it. Wish I would have known yesterday, I was only about an hour away from Gravenhurst yesterday I might have drove a little farther to have a look if I'd known. At that price I think he'll be sitting on that a while.Maybe it'll be there in 6 weeks when we're going up to Quebec.

X2.....looks like fun.....maybe next year
Don't have to wait till next year the Barrie chapter puts on 2 big events each year. June is a 2 day deal and I believe Oct 18 is the Last Blast they call it. Plus they'll have some of the stuff at the Country Heritage Park in Milton for Steam Era on Labour Day Weekend and they always have a good working display at The Inernational Plowing Match in Sept which is near Barrie this year, but the two weekends they have it at their pit sit at Simcoe County Museum is the best. I wish we still had something from my Grandpa and Dad's Equiptment left to take up there. I'm looking to get something to take up there to play. And Alex I thought about calling you to see if you were going but I figured you'd be there. Your HCEA membership let you in for free. I'll remind you in oct. We have Clifford coming up in a few weeks. I'm not taking my truck up there the club has a broker in Kitchener working on an Insurance package for us he's called me a couple times recently to let me know they're working on it. As long as I get to Sparta with it I'll be happy.

Glad this Friday is finally done. Got elected to haul Jersey barriers today which isn't usually a bad gig but I had to take a pre loaded wagon sound good but I didn't get to choose it and some of the company we haul them for has some prize ones I don't know who pulled it before me but I don't know how they kept it in the road. After I strapped everything down as best as I could with what there was to work with I checked it all over and I always check the regulators on the lift axles. The front lift behind my drives had 90lbs in it the second lift had 20 and the very back lift had 40 in it so you are going to have the trailer picking the tractor off the ground almost. When I haul them because of how they load them mostly to the rear I always put lots or air to my back lift and less to my front lift to push ha bit more weight on the drives. But the back regulator the knob was busted off and it was seized tight so I left it alone since I wouldn't be going by any scales on my 100 mile trip and with what they have on there for straps it isn't a legally secured load any way and if they want to look close I'm probably going to jail anyway! Lol! So I locked the front lift up which I normally would do with the centre lift on 6 axle in Ontario but I needed more weight on the drives so this gave me about 65 or70 lbs on my suspension gauge. So I went with it and when I got out to the highway wouldn't you know it my prize downhill Cummins powered Paccar product acted up on me, the engine shutdown light and a few other bells and whistles came on and it de rated itself on power usually I can pull over shut it off for a few minutes and it will be ok not today as soon as I got up to 45 MPH it came back on. Tried it 6 times on the way down made for a long trip. Plus on the trailer on the back lift I had brakes on fire almost because the camshafts were seizing up too. So we tapped the pushrods in and avoided using the brakes as much as we could. Then when I got down to the job they sent me over to the Flying J to wait till they needed my load so what would usually be 5 or 6 hrs turned into 12, glad I get paid by the hour. After a rest and a good regen the truck ran fine coming home.

Sucks that there are people in this world that would do something like that and that you have to lock and guard everything anymore! Nice classic Mopar!

But I have to say your Pete looks pretty good and that much polishing is a lot of work if it's a daily driver.

Hey sleepy, I got a Mack emblem thatll fit on there, prolly make it run better too! Does look good all cleaned up for sure.
I was thinking of doing that with out Pete at work putting a Mack emblem on the front to give it a bit of class. I felt bad for a while because I was the one that backed into the stupid thing with the RB dump truck witch my boss and his son took the good stock Mack mirror off and put a shakey pair of cheap Taiwan go ones on and they said you don't need the round convex mirrors so they took them off but they don't drive the trucks so they know everything I felt bad so I bought a set and put them on it. So I wouldn't back over anything else hurt my ego more than anything as for the Pete I should have taken another crack at it and put it out of its misery. Lol!

Sure looks like an R Model
Visor to me.

I watched it tonight. Lola like an ok show and I like the idea of taking something old and customizing it and making it more modern and usable, but I didn't care for the finished Mack I think they could have done things different.

The clutch in the centre of the page looks like the one I used.

Nice pics. I had the chance to go with 2 friends down there this year and when I was asked we were swamped at work a figured I couldn't get the 2 days I needed to go on the trip off. As it turns out they gave me Friday of last week because they ended up not having enough work for everyone and probably could have got the Thursday I needed for the trip off too but who would have known a week or 2 ago. It figures that's how it usually works. I wish I would have went now.

Superior Tubo and Injection in Detroit Mich put made mine all up as a kit for me about 11 yrs ago was easy to put on and it cost me about $1000 back then so $1500 might be more like it today.
